Ever wanted to mix in a little more history with your daily exercise? Well this Civil War running tour gives you that chance! During the year 1864, Richmonders faced danger from within and without.  Theft, arson, prison breaks and a cavalry raid were just a few of the challenges facing the citizens of Richmond.  Meanwhile prices continued to skyrocket and wounded flowed into the city in an endless stream.  Join us for the tour of Richmond in 1864 as we visit the sites of Lumpkin’s Jail, General Hospital #9, Libby Prison, Castle Thunder, First Market, and the Capitol just to name a few.  This tour covers approximately 2.16 miles and begins at the Museum of the Confederacy. Advance reservations required.
